What is a zine?
Short for fanzine, a zine is a self-published collection of fanmade works, including but not limited to texts and images.
What is the theme of the zine?
Im/mortal will depict the relationship between Genshin Impact characters Xiao and Keqing.
What kind of zine will this be?
This zine will be a free, digital zine. It is projected to be a small-scale project run primarily in the Xiaoqing Excellence discord server.
Will this zine be SFW?
Yes, this zine will be SFW. As such, explicit sexual content, heavy gore, and/or graphic depictions of violence will not be featured. Non-sexual nudity and minor depictions of injury and death, however, are allowed.
Who will be allowed to contribute to this zine?
We welcome and plan to accept all applicants to this zine. Spread the Xiaoqing agenda! However, All contributors must be 13+ in accordance with the Discord ToS, as coordination will be done exclusively over Discord.
Will I be able to apply for multiple roles?
Yes, you may apply for multiple roles. Depending on the number of participants, we may also accept applicants for multiple roles.
Will I be allowed to share my zine piece(s) on other websites / social media?
Yes, all our contributors are encouraged to share their zine pieces on other websites/social media after the zine is released. Prior to zine publication, artists may also post WIPs of their pieces (sketch only, no color) on their social media accounts.
Im/mortal is an A5 zine accepting all applicants. It will feature 6 writers and 8 artists.
Artists will each be given a choice to draw a single page (A5) or a two-page spread (A4). Artists will also be allowed to draw multiple pages should they wish to.
Writers will each produce one fanfiction that is 1-3k words in length. Writers will also be allowed to write multiple fics should they wish to do so.
